SI – Studio Inzaghi advised Ardian, a leading global private markets investment firm, on the agreement for the acquisition of a majority stake in Casaforte S.p.A., a market leader in the Italian self-storage sector.
The transaction was handled by a team composed of Managing Partner Guido Alberto Inzaghi and Partner Tommaso Fiorentino, who provided legal assistance on all planning and building law aspects of the transaction, including the urban planning due diligence of Casaforte’s real estate portfolio, predominantly concentrated in Northern Italy, with a strong presence in key metropolitan areas such as Milan, Turin, Genoa, Bologna, as well as a presence in Rome.
The transaction represents a significant step in Ardian’s strategy to build a scaled pan-European self-storage platform, by consolidating a highly fragmented sector driven by favourable long-term structural trends.
